Happy 74 Months!

Attended our 2nd kickboxing class yesterday. I was late again due to my usual wait-for-20-minutes-for-a-freaking-bus disaster! Poor Shuxin have to wait for me from 630plus till 715!!! The worst part is she was attacked by the commando-trained mosquitoes living in the shrubs at the CC entrance. I counted, and there were 9 stings! Sorry for being late, my dear. =(

After the HUR-HUR-HAA-HEE (kuai4 shi3 yong4 shuang1 jie2 gun4) front/side/jump kicks, punches, jex-es, and scissors (there were more but i forgot the names), I was literally relaxing myself by lying flat on the parquet floor while others are doing the crunches and stuff. Talk about lazing around... duh. Xin was such a sweetie to give me a box of Pocky after the class. Definitely brighten my day night! *Hiak Hiak*

Went to Bugis alone to collect some stuff from a friend, with the main objective of buying some dessert to prepare a surprise 74 monthniversary mini celebration for the Love. Cheesecakes never fail to put a smile on his face, and thick chewy fudgy chocolate brownies are my favourite! =D So I got 2 of them from TCC! Hurhur

I hurriedly took the train back to hall, hiding the ttc bag and the cakes in some other plastic bags of mine. After reaching hall, the Love was busy mugging, while I place the cakes in the fridge without his knowledge. The Love then decides to relax himself for a while by watching Survivor. We root the AITUS!!! HURHUR! He was very engrossed in the show, while I was waiting impatiently for the clock to strike 12. *Evil grin*

Stephanie was voted out becos of her undying love for homely smashed photos. What crap. She should have known big mouth doesnt help her in staying in Cooks for 39 days! Duh. The show ended and it simply means it's 12! Haha! With a strategic plan in my mind, I nagged at the Love for being stinky and pushed him to bathe. With my best-female-artiste acting skills, he did not get suspicious at all. So off he went for his shower.

I locked the door (just to prevent him from opening the door if I have not got things ready) immediately and started preparing the surprise. Clearing the messy table was a tough job, because I had to make sure I did not mess up his lecture notes, past year exam papers, and watever else.

Carefully, I arranged the romantic cherry-red tealight candles into a heart-shape formation. Then I placed the beautiful cheesecake in the middle (this is the proverbial smart-alec stunt, which you will learn about it later) so as to confirm the formation before lighting the candles.

Then, I started lighting the candles carefully and hurriedly. I was afraid the Love might come back anytime! Grrrr! I was pretty amazed by how the end product look like. The setting is so romantic. Heeheehee. Thinking that there's still time, I wrote a card notice poster what-ever you call it so that the Love will know at the first look what occasion we are celebrating. I blu-tacked the thingy to a pencil holder so that it will stand, and I switched off the lights.

OH-SO-ROMANTIC. A perfect ambience for lovers to fall in love all over again. I imagined how the Love will react after seeing all these, how I will him a big beary hug, or scream SURPRISE!!!!!, or plant a light peck on his cheeks. I gave a squeal in delight. hurhur silly girl.

After the hippoty-hop around the room, I realised the chocolate curls were broken becos of the intense heat from the candles!!! (remember the smart-alec stunt?) I actually forgot the effect on the cake! DUH. super angry with myself. I placed the choclate curls back onto the cake, then onto a plate and I lifted the plate high up so that the air-con is cooling it (just imagine statue of liberty).

It was then I hear footsteps approaching my room. I recognise the foosteps, and I'm sure the Love's back. I immediately sprung into action by placing the cake right in the middle of the formation, unlock the door, and hid behind the door (hoping he doesn't squash me to death with the huge strength when he opens the door). He opened the door, came in, and gave a loud and long WAAAAAAAAA. Teehee. A sense of satisfactory.

"Surprise! Happy 25th!" I said excitedly, and I felt very loved when I see his happy face and him giving me a big beary hug instead. Pure bliss. =) He whipped out his loyal Sony cam-phone to take pics of the setting. I am glad he loves it. Awwwww~~~

We took turns taking pics and the Love suggested we blow out the candles. The 2 of us happily blew the candles and I proceeded to switch on the lights. The Love and I were a little shocked by the aftermath. Hahaha (refer to picture below).

Despite the little hiccups, our 74 monthniversary mini celebration rounded off happily with the air of love in our room. I Love You, Eggs. Happy 74 Months. =D
