Holiday trip 18th May - 22nd May 2006, Taipei

We were glad our hotel room was clean and nice for the amount we paid. The toilet was totally clean, and there's a mini water cooler..with both hot and cold functions for ur water. You dun even haf to go to the corridor to take water!

The Miramar Fairy Wheel is the World's 2nd largest Ferris Wheel! We took it at night...so it was very cooling, and the point is when we were at the very very top, there was this strong gush of wind and our carriage are literally kinda swinging!!! *heart drops out* argh!!!

Aiya the food... self explanatory...dun haf to say so much hehe. Another highlight is the National Palace Museum. They have a total of 750,000 national treasures! They have so many items that they have to change all items every 3 months. I was stunned to know that, if you want to finish seeing ALL of them, you have to spend a whopping 10 YEARS!

As for the hot spring... I would really love to go to the public pool in the day! This way, you can enjoy the scenic view and the natural cool breeze! But the thing is u have to go NAKED.... omg I cant imagine myself exposing all my fats to other women. DUH DUH DUH

Here comes the culture shock:
1. The people queue up and REALLY keep right on the escalator. (refer to pic)
2. The people queue up in the drawn lines for the MRT, and REALLY let passengers alight first then slowly move in.
3. The train's crowded but there were just 2 empty seats that no one wanna sit - cos they are for Elderly, Pregnant Women, and Children.
4. Macdonalds doesnt serve chilli sauce. (Eve I think u will die there haha)
5. They dont provide plastic bags when u buy things. Either you bring your own, or you buy a plastic bag from them. (Enforcing recycling I think)

Yes Eve, the Hello Kitty KTV machine sux to the max. we have to press the buttons to navigate you see, so while I was singing, my bf keep pressing la... BUT THE STUPID THING IS THIS... everytime u press a button, it produces a loud "DEH" sound. So u can just imagine la... when I sing, then theres this stupid continuous DEH DEH DEH DEH DEH DEH DEH DEH sound. -_-"

I'm back!

Yoohooo everyone! I'm back!!! *throws confetti on myself* muahahaha... I reached SG last night but immediately zonked out once I reached home! Didnt even unpack my luggage! Too tired from all the walking, walking, and walking! *throws tired look at En* how can you expect me to post pictures immediately? haha! futhermore most of the pics are with the bf... so I guess u guys just haf to wait when he come to bunk over on friday! =D

Anyway, this trip is not much of a shopping trip. Everything there is so freaking expensive!!! Comparing the prices, a bar of Mentos cost 60cents here, but it cost $1.60 there! Maybelline's eye make up remover is $7 here, and it cost $10 there! heart pain sia! The bf and I bought nothing much for ourselves, we can even count it with our 10 fingers!

So disappointing rite? hai... Perhaps its because we are too used to our 2nd home aka Bangkok. Cos EVERYTHING (I mean really everything!) is so cheap there! its definitely our Shopping + Eating paradise!!! We kept comparing Taipei to Bangkok, making ourselves feel sadder... aiyah but we told ourselves its more of an experience la, we REALLY enjoyed eating the food there! ate lots n lots n lots of different famous food! I'm actually not much of a sight-seeing person, but amazingly I enjoy sightseeing than shopping in Taiwan! its definitely more enjoyable cos the prices of things there are so expensive!

We were very lucky to reach there just after the Tai feng is over! So cooling! just like Genting! hehe our tour agent told us to prepare jackets just in case, and its so coincidental that a tai feng just finish! so our jackets came into use! the bf certainly enjoyed the climate there =)

For this trip, we bought lots of food. food, food and food. (Angela you might kill me when u see this =D) We spent so much money on food! Hahahahah

P.s: Ade, if you really wanna go to Taiwan for shopping, let me just remind you the things there are so costly! But if you are interesting in all the sightseeing and exploration of their culture, then I encourage u! =D

Dinner and Dance 2006

I'll be flying in less than 8 hours time! To cut today's story short, we finally had the DnD that our committee have been planning since Feb! And it was a great hair day! with my make up, nice hair, and my ultimate act-cute-astonished-look to enlarge my eyes, I look good! bwahahahahaa

A great chill-out nite

Met up with dearie En after finishing all the shit work for the DnD! Settled our dinner at BK @ Orchard Emerald... Mushroom Swiss is still my all-time favourite! =D When we were eating we saw this funny guy with an injured-cum-bandaged ring finger, who's trying to use the stylus to doodle his pda phone. Walau the scene is damn funny la! especially after the mimicking from En! Arghhhhhh hahahahaha!!

After that we shop around at Centrepoint for the electrical adapter that i wanna buy for my Taiwan trip, but to realise the adapter for Taiwan and Thailand is the same, which I already have it -_-"

So after the "shopping" we went over to Alley Bar for some drinks just before the Happy hour ends! *mega grin* Hoegaarden was on 1-for-1 promotion, so why not? hehe so we got the outdoor seats and I sure think that was my comfort zone =) I find it kinda balinese, maciam resort la... (thats if I just keep looking at the plants on my right, duh.)

Then that En immediately 2 magnum size!!! Walau i was bloody shocked to see the size of the mug can!!! its damn big!!!



It was very nice to chill out after such hectic days...just simply relax, sit there, talk cock... argh... thats life! hehe En then ordered Peach Magarita (I ordered none, cos I was too full from that blardy big glass of beer can!!!), and I concluded I'm definitely not a beer-lover! =) I certainly prefer Peach Magarita! Hiak hiak! Shall try other flavours next time I go there!

P.s: Eh Ade, y u always drink lychee flavour ah? Last time at Zouk u also ordered Lychee something... duh -_-"

Busy Holidays

Met up with the sec. sch tuition group pals for bbq and steamboat at Marina South! Finally can eat n eat carefreely without any worries! It was really good to catch up with these kakis... I think the last time we met up was during Eileen's birthday on December!!! After dinner we went to Marina Pier as suggested by En... all of us packed into her beau's car and as a regular passenger, once i got comfortable with my seat, I grabbed hold of the handle. Jay Chou's initial D song started playing, and with the windows open. The strong breeze, heart-pumping music (cos the bass is to power!), plus the "drifting" makes us all high!!! oops, ok perhaps its just me. (throws proud look at Yan) bwahaahahaha I definitely love the way he drives. Dangerous, but I like. =D

It was my dear niece, Jomaine's full month celebration! She is such a cutie pie can! When i reached there she was still sleeping, but, certainly very very cute! She has lots lots lots of hair haha. Too bad I didnt take any photos cos she was sleeping all the while!!! (My family believed that when you take pictures of a person (especially with flash) when he/she is asleep, his/her soul will be "scared" off the body and he/she might not be able to wake up after that) That explains why I did not take any pics!

The only time she woke up was when my aunt and I were saying that she keep sleeping. She just suddenly open her eyes to look at all of us, and SMILED!!!! Bwahahaha all of us burst out laughing and said how vain is she! Play hard to get ah~~~ Babies just seem to be able to know what we are saying even if they're asleep! i remember when my bro was still a baby, my mum was carrying him then we were saying "didi u very naughty leh! bla bla" then he burst out crying!!!!!

My guy and I always start out Sundays with Mac breakfast, or the prata near my place! After brekkie we will always go to the library to read some books that we enjoy la. Then we went to Paradiz Centre for the long-awaited KTV session!!! Nice nice nice! finally can relax...We have to go to THE CATHAY to try out really soon! Haven explore yet...

Monday was a gathering with other girlies in sch! Shuxin, Christal, and Linda! Too bad Sylvia cant make it at the last minute. We started our day with lunch at Sakae Sushi! Yum yum! *shouts to Eve, Yu, and Jas* Lets have sakae student buffet soon!!! Haha... ok..shall not digress... So after lunch I brought them to the shop that sells the dolls that I collect and all 3 of them said "SO SCARY!!!!!!!" WALAU i was like "...". DUH!!!

We went shopping after that (as usual, this is really a girls thingy!), and followed by the sinful indulgence of Venezia! I had Mango sorbet and Belgium Chocolate! very nice! =)



Christal then suggested we go kbox... so off we go! walau we took lots of stupid pictures can? but I'll just show a few.. the rest are censored! bwahahah





After all the singing we went to Cafe Cartel at Raffles City to have cakes! 50% off ma... hehe me and my Aunty Aney's Chewey Fudgey Chocolate Cake!



Continued our chit chat session despite the restaurant is closing... went to the seats outside starbucks and chat chat chat till 2am! We were forced to go home cos there were too many mosquitoes feeding on us!!! BLEAH!!!

Finally was able to meet up with my dear girls, Eve, Jas, and Yu! Had Fish n co for dinner! *Slurp slurp* Kbox session was called off as it was the eve of a public holiday so it cost us 21+++!!! so in the end we settled on playing Pool at marina square! Bwahahaha we are the White Ball Team! The Frog Princess has emerged... and I was busy singing "Congratulations...da da da da da" all night long! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

I think playing pool is a good time killing activity. As we pay only 5 bucks each and we actually can have fun for 2.5 hours! its worth it! Now, I'm looking forward to all the mahjong sessions and the ETP or Sentosa outing! Hehe

I'm leaving on this Thursday for my Taiwan Holiday but yet I have not packed anything!!! OMG!!! I'm definitely excited for the trip! but yet, feeling quite lost as its our first time there. I heard we have to be naked for our hotspring session!! ARGH I DUN WANNA SHOW MY FATS TO OTHERS!!!

- Finally reached the place, was expecting a meeting room or something but it was shitty.

- 2 mothers were feeding their babies and blabbering non stop about the john little and metro sale at MAX volume.

- Then I saw an Ah Pek wearing some super old fashion polo tee with orbiang brand sport shoes, carrying a fucking big bunch of keys on his neck. I thought he was the security or the janitor!

First Of May

Celebrated this public holiday with intensive shopping and a sumptuous dinner with Enen!!! This girl is really shopaholic! Just within 2 hours, she spent 300+++!!! my goodness... I cant bear with my money lor... argh..

Anyway bought 2 short sleeve shirts and 1 long sleeve shirt as there's a promotion! $50+ for 3 working shirts! very very cheap~~~ bwahaahahaha then went shopping for lingerie...we spent a solid 1 hour in the shop! walau that bloody promoter keep talking and talking...end up bought more n more n more... arghhhh

It was then dinner time and we decided on Billy Bombers since its been sometime since we ate that! Cheese fries! Yin & Yang! B52! *woohooo* nice nice nice! we were so full that we can feel out stomachs bloated that we cant walk properly! (ok I have big bloated stomach all the while -_-)

Because En just lost her precious diamond ring, I think she definitely need retail therapy to balance her emotions... after eating, we CONTINUED shopping! and she bought 1 pair of heels, and 1 pair of sandals, followed by 2 bags! Within 1 day she became member of Ero lingerie and Charles & Keith! haha I salute to her shopping attitude!

Then we ended the day by going to NTUC cos i needed to get groceries, and her goodie bf send me back to hall! save my cab money! yay~~~

I have been super duper free these days... staying in hall...so bored that I have to re install Maple and Gunbound to play!!! Its been about 1 to 2 years I've touched them and now I actually download it again n play... u can imagine my boredom man!!!

Eve is so kind to give me company, and we actually met up for our taitai day yesterday. Caught 'The Art Of Seduction'! it's damn funny la! korean movies never fail to make me laugh hysterically and to squeal when i see the intimate moments! Eve and I were laughing like mad in the movie and we actually haf to use bags to cover our "laughter"! bwahahahaa !

After the movie we went to Jacks Place for lunch! We made a great discovery and strongly recommend all of u to go! They currently have student meal!! Its damn cheap. Why? Cos it includes 1 soft drink, Garlic bread, Soup of the day, Your choice of Maincourse, and dessert! All for just $6.50!!!!! We were so full after the lunch can! *burp burp burp*

Followed on was retail therapy!!! Got myself a puffy sleeve shirt, nice nice! Must prepare clothes for Practicum liao... Bought 2 G2000 shirts for my guy too, they were on sale! very cheap! usual price $50 and now only $19 each!! its such a great shopping day *mega grinz* went to Body shop to renew my membership too! bought everything at 20% off, and i got a free White Musk body spray! something like a welcome gift la.. then helped Yu buy her oceanus shower gel also... I bought strawberry body lotion!

All the shopping makes us tired, so we decided to go to Yakun Toast for some tea and kaya lo-ti with egg! *slurp slurp* its been so long since we sit down and have some snacks and chit chat! during lunch and tea, we talk about friendship, practicum, and were making plans for all our girls outings! argh... we must definitely enjoy our holidays!!!!

Erm, so the moral of the story is... I'm so bored and I seriously need dates out!!! dates like this! hahahaha

This is what my bf saw when he went to the toilet in the school library. He was so amazed, and at the same time, disgusted by the sight of it that he took a picture of this masterpiece. When he showed me the picture, I was also intrigued by the beauty of how this piece of shit is so well-laid on the toilet bowl and yet there was no sight of wiped toilet paper in the bowl. It is just not logical that if you wiped your ass and flushed the toilet, the shit should get flushed together. Hence this is what we consider the beauty of this piece of shit. Since this is found in the school library toilet, we conclude that this piece of art could be the work of a male art trainee teacher from NIE.

A great evening was spent with Cab and Christal the other day... enjoyed ourselves at Ding Tai Fung! I love the student meal they're having now! $9.80 for a drink, 3 xiao long bao and a choice of fried rice or any noodles! woohoo~~ After filling our stomachs with the sumptuous dinner, of course we need to have retail therapy to lift our poor spirits up since we've been so miserable for the past 2 weeks! Both of them got heels and sandals but I end up with nothing! *act-cute pout*

Once the clock strikes 7, its time for kboxing(term grabbed from eve)! We finally, and I seriously mean FINALLY, we made it! We've been talking about a kbox get-together since the 1st semester!!!! Yes, please worship our procrastinating skills!

Chris really sound like Jolin!!! and Cab definitely can handle guys' songs well! cab - actually ur vocal range very broad leh..... hmpf....
To think back... its really amazing how 3 of us can get along so well... different religion, different background, different size! haha we got XS, M and XL! BWAHAAHAAHAHAA

Jas's birthday was celebrated in a simple way, yet very exciting! We went to Cineleisure, had dinner st Cafe Cartel, followed by some shopping and then watched an exciting show! I personally like the twist in the story a lot, i love movies with a good plot! And seriously, Eve, who is supposed to 'protect' Yu, actually cringed in fear together!!!

After movie, we actually went to take neoprint! BWAHAHHAHAHAH We had such a busy time in there taking pictures, and editing pictures, not to mention a huge time was spent laughing hysterically in there! Walau if I'm the shop attendant I confirm angry with this bunch of siao char bo lor!!!

I am no longer who I am

Reflections for GESL, reflections for DCM, reflections for SBA, reflections after reflections... But, when was the last time you had reflections of yourself?

I realised I am no longer like who I was 4 years ago. We had our happiest times 4 years ago. We used to be so loving, because we experienced the feeling of gaining back something so precious that we lost before. I was then a girl with a very kind heart, so kind that I even helped a snail crossed its path, because I'm afraid a cyclist or someone inconsiderate will step on it and crush it to death. I used to be someone who was cheerful and friendly, always cracking jokes with others, someone who was always there for him, whenever he feels down.

But I have changed. I have become such a monster. I snatch seats on the mrt (because I have gained so much weight, and my legs hurt everytime i stand long), I talk bad things about people in front of them so loudly (thinking that they should know their own bad points so that they can change them), I have such a black heart now, I get easily irritated when people knock onto me or whatever. I've become so intolerant, impatient, easily-agitated person. I have gained so much weight and I have a fucking humongous tummy in me that people think I am pregnant. I have lost all my self confidence. I feel like shit now.

I used to ask him this, "What do you like in me?"
He said, "You have a kind heart, and very caring towards others."
I asked him this just now, "After being together for so many years, do you still think there is beauty in me?"
He asked "how do you define beauty?"
I said, " it might not be in terms of looks, maybe the heart or anything"
He said, "erm... yes ba"

I dunno what he really thinks, but I think that is a default answer. He seems not able to tell me if I am still attractive to him in any way. I personally think I have become such a failure in life. I have become such a bad and evil person. I feel bad inside me. I think I will get my retribution soon. Who knows I have already got my retribution? for having this terrible fucking big belly of mine, and that he can no longer hug me by my waist with one hand. I am so useless.

An unforgettable experience

It was an unforgettable moment, and I know, the moments of my solo performance @ the Esplanade will always stay in my heart. The feeling, when I am right under the spotlight, everyone kept quiet, and just listen, really listen to me. certainly felt good, especially, my whole family was there. =) Those who've watched I Not Stupid 2, my parents are exactly like Jack Neo. For all my performances of my past till now, they have never seen it. They have not attended any of my performances. They seriously dont know I can sing. This is the first time my whole family came down to support me, and I felt great. =)

It definitely was a memorable experience. And of cos the different places that audience will never get to see. From the crew entrance, to the make up room, to the back stage, and to the stage. I will never forget this experience, and I am thankful, that I can tell my children next time that Mummy actually performed at the Humungous Durian before.

And it was until Eve dear mentioned, that I was in all 3 teams i.e. Choir, Acapella and Sing & Strum. Then I realised I was in all 3!!! Guess wat... I am the ONLY ONE in the whole whole team that presented all 3 teams! OMG!!! I get so much exposure! hahahaha I'm surprised, and happy of course.

Just like wat I told the girls, I reckon I will tremble when I walk to stage, with the pianist and audiences waiting for me! Once I tremble, my voice will tremble, then I cant hit the high notes, will go off key and sound breathless!!! Duh!

I definitely feel better after seeing all these messages! BUT, I'm still scared! bwahahahaha! And to make things worse, my rashes all came out today. =( Hai, really unlucky lor...

Anyway, I personally think today is a day that will mark down an impt part in my memory in the future =) My guy keep saying "How many opportunities does one normal person have, to perform a solo piece at Esplanade?" and that makes me ponder about it, and to tell myself to cherish tonight. =) I'm very glad all my closest family and friends will be here, except my sec sch pals... Eve, Jas, Wanyu, Cab & beau, Enen, Weijian, Ade, Eddie, my guy, his family, and my family. Not forgetting how Wanyu attempted to help me, by offering me her black dress. She even brought it to her chalet, but due to unforseen circumstances, I cant meet her up to see the dress, and haf to trouble her to bring it home again. =( Sorry dear!

Argh~ after saying all these I start to feel I'm really lucky, to have all these people behind me! I LOVE YOU! *mega hugz* and to thank all of you, I will put up a pic of myself (for the 1st time) on my blog! Haha (as if pple wanna see!)

I'm so touched...

Was referred to the National Skin Centre today. They said I have very serious Feng Mo. I was horrified by how I look when i woke up this morning. The red patches have spread to my whole body. My scalp, face, neck, body, hands, legs all have red swollen patches.

Its very itchy and painful... and i think my immune system is very low now too... sian... whole body aching maciam did lots of exercise... and I feel so weak! Keep sleeping... and i'm so sad too! the pple see me on the streets look at me as if I got HIV or wat loh.... haiz.... I look horrible lah...

But great things happen today too!

I realised there were many great friends around me, and they really make me feel very touched. I would like to thank all of you for:

Cabrina - the constant smses to check that I'm ok, and helping me take notes.

Christal - helping me take notes and worksheets in class.

Evelyn - the constant smses, and dont mind teaching me wat I missed in class, and even lend me your tutorial answers.

Jasmine - volunteering to lend me all your lecture notes and photocopy your tutorials, and even suggested the "satay fan".

Wanyu - calling your dad and check out what I should not do, what i should not eat, and the constant reminders to drink more water.

=) these maybe simple gestures, but to me they are acts of selflessness. This incident made me feel so touched that I have such kind frenz around. And it definitely makes me cherish our friendship even more. Thanks babies! =) *MEGA HUG HUG*
